Residential Meal Plans
Meal plans cost $2,475.00 for the semester
Resident students living on campus are required to select a meal plan option.
Each meal plan option consists of a set number of meals and a set amount of Meal Plan Dollars/Points.
Students can use their set number of meals and set amount of Meal Plan Dollars/Points in the Main Dining Hall (All-You-Care-to-Eat) or the Cyber Cafe (Grab & Go)- use Meal Plan Dollars/Points or Meal Exchange program
Students can change their meal plan at the beginning of each semester.
The meal plan week begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday.
Meals and Meal Plan Dollars/Points expire at the end of each semester.
Resident students can purchase DU Dollars if needed. DU Dollars are similar to the Meal Plan Dollars/Points, but DO NOT expire at the end of each semester.
Meal Plans can be changed until January 20, 2024 for the Spring Semester.

All meal plans now have a set number of meals per week. The meal plan cycle (# of meals per week) resets on Sunday each week.
The student “must” have their Dominican ID at all times. If the student does not have their Dominican ID, they must have a temporary ID to show at the register in the Dining Hall and Cyber Cafe.
Unused meals are not refundable. If a student wants to treat a guest, the student will need to be present with the guest to swipe for them (no exceptions).
All meal plans now come with additional Meal Plan Dollars. Students can use up to $100.00 per week of their Meal Plan Dollars.
Based on the meal plan chosen, students should use on average $6 – $50 a week to complement their meal plan swipes or treat a guest to dining.

The Spring meal plan begins Sunday, January 7 at Brunch, and ends on Saturday, May 4th.
Traditionally, Dining Services will close or have limited service hours during Mid-Semester Spring Break, and Easter Break. More information will be posted at a later date.

Commuter Meal Plan
Dominican University's commuter meal plan allows you to eat in either the Dining Hall or the Cyber Cafe. Meal exchanges, snacks, and to-go options offer commuter students convenient, affordable meal options that work with your busy schedule.
A swipe registers as a purchased meal. Each swipe allows you full access to our all-you-care-to-eat Dining Hall.
DU Dollars
DU Dollars are similar to Meal Plan Dollars, however they have the added benefit of not expiring. Similarly, when paying with DU Dollars, you receive the benefit of not having to pay tax. DU Dollars can be added to all meal plan options for commuters and residents in addition to the Plan Dollars.
To-Go Container $5.00
Purchase a reusable to-go container for $5. Return your container for clean container, pay for a meal, fill your container, enjoy your meal! Repeat the process (only one time thru the line with a to-go container)
